  Clean, stylish, and curteous hotel in the perfect location. Outstanding guest service from the front desk and housekeeping. Quiet at night in a safe and popular tourist area. Steps away from the pier and cable cars. Saw quite a few negative reviews regarding a "secret $30 fee". They are very upfront about the surcharge and it's fairly common in larger cities in my experience. It also allows for continental breakfast in the morning and bottled water in the rooms.
