  We stayed two nights over the weekend. Pros: The Inn was at a great location on Lombard street and it seemed to be in the middle of everything. We could walk to the coast and piers and it was a short ride to the Bridge. The parking is free, which is a huge plus in SF. They provided breakfast, but it was just doughnuts and coffee/hot chocolate. The rooms were pretty clean and well kept and the bathroom was pretty big. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. Cons: The window in our room didn't seal all the way shut, so we could hear traffic and people all throughout the night. There was a huge verbal fight our second night that kept my whole room up for an hour because The window didn't seal. The shower was meant for a short person - the shower head was unreasonably low and they had a bar for the door I kept hitting my head on. The sink had hot water but the directions were opposite of normal. There is smoking allowed on the balcony, so you smell it as you walk to your room (I couldn't smell any smoke in our room though). The radiator was a pain to work with - you either got super hot or super cold air, there was no in-between. It's also extremely loud. We left it on the warmest A/C, but we still froze and had to turn it off during the night. We tried the heat the next day but it was unbearably hot. The staff wasn't bad, but they didn't really make me feel welcome or as a valued guest. Overall, this was definitely not worth the price. You're paying for the location and that's it. I would highly recommend choosing a different location to stay. I felt it was a safe location, but I simply didn't enjoy my stay.
