  I should not add my review to Arsicault because then the line will be even longer! The best croissants in San Francisco, period. Screw Tartine. In fact these are some of the best croissants not just in San Francisco but in the world. I went to France and ate a ton of croissants and while I ran into a couple that were almost as good, I never found any that were actually better. The croissant buck stops here, and so should you. But not on a weekend.

  Yep, Five Stars. When the ham and cheese croissant entered my mouth and I sunk my teeth into it, I experienced the sublime. The butter, the flavors, the aroma, the texture - I'm trying to put words to heaven. The other croissants I had were equally amazing.
